பல வருடங்களாக காஷ்மீர் மாநிலத்தை விட்டு வெளியேற்றப்பட்டு. வெளி மாநிலத்தில் பணிபுரியும் தம்பதியர்கள், ஆச்சாரியாள் அவர்களின் தரிசனம் காண வந்திருந்தார்கள். வந்தவர், “காஷ்மீர் நகருக்கு மாற்றம் ஆகி உள்ளது ” என்றார். காஷ்மீர் நகரம் திரும்பிப் போக வேண்டுமா என்ற கேள்வி வந்தவர் முன் விடை தெரியாமல் இருந்து கொண்டு உள்ளது.

பல வருடங்களாக ஜம்மு காஷ்மீர் மாநிலத்தில் நிலவிய பதற்ற சூழ்நிலையால் மாநிலத்தை விட்டு, வீடு, நிலம், சொத்து அனைத்தையும் விட்டுவிட்டு வெளியேறினார்கள். பல, பலர் அழிக்கப்பட்ட சூழ்நிலையில் என்ன செய்வதென்று தெரியாமல், ஆச்சாரியாள் முன் நிற்க, அவர் கூறினார், “தைரியமாக செல்லுங்கள்.நீங்கள் அனைவரும் திரும்பிச் செல்ல வேண்டும்.“

பணம், பொருளாதாரம், வசதி தேடி, பலர் தங்களின் வீடு,கிராமம் அனைத்தையும் விட்டு விட்டு வெளிநாடு, வெளிமாநிலம் என்று சென்று விட்டார்கள். ஆனால், காஷ்மீரில் மக்கள், குறிப்பாக காஷ்மீர் பண்டிதர்கள் விரட்டி அடிக்கப்பட்டார்கள். கூடி சேர்ந்து வாழ்ந்த மக்கள் விரட்டப்படும் போது, அதனோடு மதம்,தர்மம், கலாச்சாரம், பாரம்பரியம் அனைத்தும் விரட்டப் பட்டு, அழிக்கப்படுகிறது.

நாம் நமது சொந்த கிராமம், ஊர் தாண்டிச் செல்லும் போது, நம்மால் நமது பழக்க வழக்கங்கள், விழாக்கள், பண்டிகைகள் அனைத்தையும் கடைபிடிக்க முயல்வதில்லை அல்லது நம்மால் கடைபிடிக்க கூடுதல் முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டும்.
நாம் நமது மண், நமது குடும்பம், நமது சமுதாயம்,நமது நாடு அனைத்தையும் காப்பாற்ற ஒவ்வொரு தனி மனிதனும் முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டும் – தனியாக, கூட்டாக.

Expelled from the state of Kashmir for many years. A couple working in a different state had come to have the Acharya’s darshan. The visitor said, “Got transfer order to go back to Kashmir. The question of whether we should go back to city of Kashmir remains unanswered.”

Due to the tense situation in the state of Jammu and Kashmir for many years, they left the state, leaving behind all their homes, land and property. Standing before the Acharya, not knowing what to do in a situation where many, many were destroyed, His Holiness said, “Go boldly. You must all go back.“.

In search of money, economy and convenience, many people left their homes and villages and went to foreign countries. But people in Kashmir, especially Kashmiri Pandits, had different stories to tell. When people who have lived together are driven away, religion, dharma, culture and tradition are also driven away and destroyed.

When we move beyond our own village or town, we do not try to observe all our customs, ceremonies and festivals or we have to make an extra effort to observe them. Every individual must try to save our soil, our family, our society, our country – individually and collectively.

கனகதாரா ஸ்தோத்திரம் படிக்கவும் – Recite Kanakadhara Stotram

இன்று காலை ஒரு தாய், தன் மகளை அழைத்துக் கொண்டு , ஆச்சாரியார் அவர்களை தரிசனம் காண வந்திருந்தார்கள். அந்தத் தாய், தன் மகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிக் கொண்டார்கள். உடனே ஆச்சாரியாள் அவர்கள், தன் கையில் இருந்த நெல்லிக் கனியைத் தந்து, “கனக தாரா ஸ்தோத்திரம் படிக்கவும்” என்று ஆசி அருளினார். அன்று நெல்லிக் கனியை வாங்கிக் கொண்டு , மஹா லக்ஷிமியின் அருள் வேண்டி ,கனக தாரா ஸ்தோத்திரம் பாடி. வறுமையை போக்க வேண்டும் என்று மஹா லட்சுமியை வேண்டிக் கொண்டார்.

இன்றோ ஆச்சாரியார் அவர்கள் ஆதி சங்கரர் பெற்றுக் கொண்ட நெல்லிக் கனியைத் தந்து, அவர் அருளிய கனக தாரா ஸ்தோத்திரம் பாராயணம் செய்ய ஆணையிட்டது அனைவருக்கும் பொருந்தும். இதையே திருவள்ளுவர் “அருளில்லார்க்கு அவ்வுலகம் இல்லை பொருளில்லார்க்கு இவ்வுலகம் இல்லாகி யாங்கு.” என்று கூறுகிறார்.

ஒரு நெல்லிக் கனியை பெற்றுக் கொண்டு,உலகம் உய்ய வழி காட்டினார் ஆதி சங்கரர். லௌகீக வாழ்க்கையில் இருக்கும் நமக்கு நெல்லிக்கனியும் தேவை, கனகதாரா வும் தேவை என்ற உண்மையை உணர்த்தியவர். நெல்லிக் கனி பொருளாதாரத்தை குறிக்கிறது, கனகதாரா ஆன்மீகத்தை காட்டுகிறது என்றால் மிகையாகாது. முருகன் கிடைக்காத மாம்பழம் தேடி, பழனி மலையில் தவம் இருந்தான். மாம்பழம் ஞானத்தை குறிக்கும். சபரி தின்ற பழம் பக்தியைக் குறிக்கும்.

This morning a mother and her daughter came to see His Holiness .The mother prayed to bless her daughter. Immediately the Acharya gave the gooseberry fruit in and blessed her saying, “Recite Kanakadhara stotram”. After getting gooseberry fruit during biksha from a woman, who had nothing to offer, Adi Sankara sought the blessings and grace of Maha Lakshmi and chanted kanakadhara stotram. He prayed to MahaLakshmi to remove poverty.

Today the Acharya gave a gooseberry fruit that Adi Shankar had received and advised to recite the Kanakadhara stotram which is applicable to everyone. Adi Sankara showed the way to the world by getting a gooseberry fruit. He is the one who made us realize the fact that we who are in worldly life need Nellikani and Kanakadhara too. It is no exaggeration to say that Nellik Kani represents economy and Kanakadhara shows spirituality.

Lord Muruga did penance in Palani Hill in search of mangoes which he could not get in a dual battle with His brother Vinayaka.. Mango represents wisdom. The fruit eaten by Sabari represents devotion. We need Nellikkani, Mango and the fruits offered by Sabari to Rama. We need Knowledge, Devotion and prosperity.
